This blog is about my research as textile designer and artist, which focuses on the fusion of digital imagery and physical surface. Currently I am working with projections. I explore visual ambiguities resulting from this synthesis of material, light and space - playing on our visual perception.




My interest in the illusionary started when experimenting with projections onto the human body. Here the projected image created something like a virtual imprint on the skin – looking deceivingly real, but being of temporary and ephemeral existence, leaving no trace.
